I've recently discovered Scott Draves' art. Makes cool desktop wallpaper.
Jody Coyote, Silver Forest, and cool thread-through silver earrings with gems on them are my faves. Some of these can be found at my fave bookstore-on-the-corner in Canton! I spent two hours there on a day off last week. Nope, I didn't buy anything - but it's a good thing I didn't have money to spend, or I might have had to spend more time narrowing down my purchase choices.
High school was hell (except for the Senior Play) - college was my 'glory days' time. Getting together with Nancy was a great time today! We shared her vision for the stone house and property, mourned together over not-enough-time-or-money to do-it-all-now, and revived a few fading memories of those glory days. If you ever want an encourager, go see Nancy. After all that, we shared a booth at the Hometown Diner and reminisced some more over snacks at the College Union after Wednesday night services. I wonder if she'll follow through on those old photographs ...
I hope it will not be very long before we can get together again ... I wonder who will be at next Wednesday's Mom's Meeting? My daughter-in-law and I have a date there.
